Designed in an origami-style for flatwater, it’s Oru’s lightest and most compact kayak. Half the weight of a traditional kayak, it’s perfect if you want a simple-to-use, casual boat-on-the-go.
The easiest to assemble of Oru’s kayaks, it’s nimble, playful and also stable – it tracks and handles far better than an inflatable. The Inlet folds down to the smallest space of any of Oru’s kayaks, so you can store it just about anywhere. Ideal if you’re a first-time paddler.

As someone who lives in an apartment with zero storage space, this kayak is a dream. Foldable design is genius — I keep it behind my couch and no one even knows it’s there. Took it to the river last weekend and it handled beautifully. Definitely worth every penny for city adventurers.

Works well overall, but had a small leak near the bow seam on first use. Sent pics to support and they’re sending a patch kit. Still optimistic — build quality seems good otherwise, and folding mechanism is next-level convenient.

Love how portable it is! No need for a roof rack anymore. Sets up fast and tracks well on calm water. Only docked one star because the seat could use more lumbar support after a few hours.

Just took the Oru Inlet Kayak out on a lake weekend and honestly? Game-changer. Super easy to assemble — had it in the water in under 10 minutes. It's lightweight but feels solid, and the design is sleek as hell. Perfect for solo paddles and fits perfectly in my SUV. Already getting compliments from fellow kayakers.
