This freestanding, three-season Retreat 80 is designed with three poles including a unique top-arching pole which helps increase your living space and headroom. Solid tent for weekend trips. Took it on a rainy hike and stayed completely dry. Only reason I’m not giving 5 stars? The poles felt a bit flimsy, and I swear one tried to escape into the woods. Jokes aside, great ventilation and easy setup once you figure out the color-coded clips.

I’m five feet nothing and claustrophobia-prone, but this tent felt airy and safe. Easy setup, great airflow, and no puddles inside after a midnight storm. My boyfriend said it’s ‘the nicest date he’s been on all year.’ (He’s weird. I love it.)

Took the Retreat 80 out for a weekend backpacking trip with my buddy and wow—this tent is a game-changer. Set up took under 5 minutes, even in the wind, and it held strong through a light rain. This tent is a game-changer! Set it up in under 10 minutes while my buddy still struggled with his old-school pole system. Spacious enough for two humans and one very judgmental dog. Solid tent. Roomy enough for two plus gear, and ventilation kept things from getting swampy. Only docked a star because the poles took a minute to click into place. Still, way better than sleeping under a tarp like my buddy Chad.
